One of our favorite restaurants in the 11 western states.
SUPER tasty tacos. Got the Carne asada, carnitas, and barbacoa and added a ton of sauces and toppings. Called them from Cortez on the way up and it was ready when I arrived??
We just had chips and salsa, guacamole drinks. The house margs are great, the chips and salsa bar were fabtastic! The guaccamole had no flavor was over blended and had no texture. We even left some in the bowl, it that that bad.
This had been our go-to for close Mexican food. This time the menu and food had changed, a couple dollars higher per entre, and the burritos are now loaded with beans and rice, and not much meat, (whereas before they were meat with no beans and rice inside). And, they serve beans and rice on the side. That's a lot of beans and rice. Used to be fast service. This time was a good 20 minutes for the waitress to bring our barely warm food. And we had to flag her down for the check so we could leave. Not impressed this go-round.
