Hawkers Markets - Maylands

What a fabulous summer night markets! Set in 'the rise' where the maylands library is, situated on the lovely green grass.

I love how Perth is beginning to take advantage of it's balmy summer nights by putting on food trucks and stalls at these night time markets.

I'm not from around here, so when I hear wind about certain parts of town being shadier than others, I can't say that I take part in that conversation,

Loads of multicultural food stalls happening. Loads of people sitting around eating and sampling the food. Very relaxed and awesome atmosphere. I think it's only on on a Monday night. We went at about 6pm.

Very busy. Make sure you arrive early as some had sold out by 6pm! Tried eggplant chips, grilled mac sandwich and pork buns. Pork buns to die for. Great vibe!
