The food was excellent quality and well presented, whilst not overloading the plate to make up for average offerings. Highly recommend Leonardo's and look forward to trying their sister restaurant in the old port some time soon.
We met the people we had rented the apartment from for our last night in Puerto De Mazarron as although it was very close we hadn't managed to try the food. It was brilliant although the portions were rather large we managed the bruschetta, carpaccio and rice croquettes followed by pizza unfortunately we were all so full the was only room for coffee. We are back next year so will definitely be wandering down for lunch or an early evening meal.
This was our first visit to Leanardos although we have intended to visit there each time we have holidayed in PDM. We were not disappointed!! We ate inside where which was very nice and were served by a very busy waiter! We had a starter of bruschetta which was enormous!!!! One would have easily filled both of us!! However because it was so delicious we ate it all which was a bit of a mistake because we were nearly full before the main course arrived!! Luckily we had ordered lasagne for the main course which thankfully wasnt too big and to be honest wasnt that hot but still enjoyable. I was disappointed that I was unable to have a pudding as the choices looked very tasty. Would I visit again? Yes definitely!!
I have been meaning to try this restaurant following a recommendation from a friend. It is probably the cleanest i have visited in Mazarron, we went about 1900 hrs and it was fairly quiet. The waiter met us on entry and took us to a table, He gave us menus and took a drinks order. We were not rushed into ordering giving us plenty of time to peruse the extensive list of italian dishes. The menu was in both English and Spanish. We had noticed on entry that there was a wood fired pizza and i chose a pizza with seafood while my friend chose lasagne. As a starter we had bruschetta topped with some of the sweetest tomatoes i have tasted. My pizza was excellent with a good mix of seafood whilst the lasagne was wholesome and very rich. We did not have sweets as the main course was more than sufficient to meet my appetite but saw others order and they also looked very good. An excellent place to eat at reasonable prices, total bill including three beers, soft drink and brandy coffee was 32euros.
I tried this place after driving past a number if times and seeing how busy it was . Really nice and polite waiting on staff . The pizzas are melt in your mouth and I've tried the salmon, really good size portions and very tasty . Definitely will be returning
