Anada - Melbourne

I love this restaurant. we're glad we made it. beautiful personal and fabulous eating. the paella rivaled all we had a few years back in valencia. we will return.

One of our favorite spots for a special occasion. we have taken many host family members and friends there over the years and once booked the whole place for a birthday party that was an absolute tasty bite. friendly staff, cozy and stylish ambiente. and delicious food, every time. tiny nitpick: if I tried the paella, it was a bit missing, but everything else on the menu was divine. highly recommended.

Beautiful and extraordinary eating, beautiful staff, great weeping, beautiful atmosphere. tapas art eat so many different food to choose, great to share. absolutely brilliant! large gluten-free and vegetarian/ vegan options. for a work dinner thank you franc, leah and the. köchen, who were so accommodating. neat, clean and absolutely brilliant restaurant!

I had dinner yesterday at Anada. It was a set Menu. I enjoyed all the entree however the main wasn’t nice at all . The paella and the lamb neck were not at the same level of the entrees.

Had been wanting to try Anada for some time so decided to give it a go. Firstly this place has poor accoustics so it's quite loud. You have to raise your voice to have a conversation with the others on your table. It's made worse...by the music which was quite loud as everyone in the place had to compete with it. Even the waiters had difficulties hearing. Started with the Iberico Jamon which was nice but for $18 you get 4 small paper thin slices. We were sharing the plate between two so not even enough for a taste. We then had the sardines which for $16 you get 3 smallish sardines. For the main we had the seafood paella for two. Again small serving with hardly any seafood. I counted 3 mussels 3 prawns and 4 fish pieces. For $42 I wasn't impressed. The wine list starts at about$70 a bottle then up from there. There are many restaurants around Melbourne that offer much better value for money than Anada. Very overrated and poor value for money.
