Bellezza Restaurant - Melbourne

This wonderful small Italian/Australian restaurant has a broad menu with something to suit all tastes. I have been to many restaurants where I have struggled to find more than one thing I would choose to eat on the menu - In Bellezza, I have trouble choosing between the delicious options, as there is almost nothing on the menu I would not eat...The greeting is invariably friendly and welcoming, the restaurant itself is very cosy and carefully lit so it is neither too bright nor too dim, and the service is cheerful, engaging and understated, but always there in the background.

This has become a favourite restaurant which we keep returning to. Quite a large range of dishes to suit everyone's taste, but I continue to order the Veal Scallopini which I have yet to find better elsewhere. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and it is obvious that there are many regulars who frequently return.

Was visiting our kids who live within walking distance of this great eatery.From the greeting until we left was great. The staff were happy friendly and slick.The food was yummy from start my scallop tasting plate till the dessert brought out with a sparkler as it was my sons birthday. The wine recommended was spot on.If you have not tried this Gem you should.

4 of us dined on a Saturday night. Very popular venue. We only had main courses, including duck confit, a beef dish, seafood etc. All were good, and very healthy portion sizes too. BYO wine allowed with only $3 pp corkage. A little noisy due to the acoustics, but lively with it, rather than annoying.

The food was alright but a bit confusing (we presumed it was an Italian restaurant), but the service was great. However, the movement of the floorboards registered a 5.5 on the Richter scale. It was extremely shaky that I couldn't focus on my food each time someone walked past. Truth was I was worried that I was going to feel sick after the numerous tremors.
