So it seems Melbourne not done with burgers, and it now looks like every man, Dog and celebrity chef is jumping on board.

I had the spicy katsu burger with bacon A dollar extra to make it spicyThe burger wasn't too bad.

Finally checked this place out and I was not disappointed.I would have given 5 stars but it was a little pricey, they had no meal deals and the sauce cost me $2.00 for a tablespoon. Service was outstanding. And they charge you a payment surcharge, like common what is the go with that? Take cash.I got the Katsu Chicken Bacon Burger, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the coating was crispy, the buns where really fresh, and just the right amount of salad. Overall full of flavour.Chips where cooked to perfection aswell and nice and crunchy. I got the chilli salt on it and was nice kick.All up came to $20,00.Will go back again and try a beef burger. Chips where amazing, cooked

If you like a good American style burger, you have to visit the Burger Project. Sure, the fit out and location isn't ideal, but if you are looking for a great burger, you will make the effort to visit one of their locations. We visited their Collins street location and went back twice during our two day stay in Melbourne, yes it was that good. Having lived in the US and had many great burgers, this place certainly stacks up. We also loved their home brew ginger beer. I am a huge Bundaberg ginger beer fan, but if their brew was commercial available, I would buy it for sure. I tried their Double beef burger and Aussie beef burger. Both were fantastic. One of our family members is vegetarian, so she had the mushroom burger and was very impressed with the flavour and quality of the burger. Another family member tried their Chicken Katsu burger, another home run. I will be back for sure and telling all my friends.
