A bonus is being able to purchase a bag of chai to take home . Didn't eat there , but will next visit .Seats out in the street
Lua is one of our regular spots.Coffee is good without being fantastic, but the Shakshuka is awesome (if you like that type of food). Service is good, friendly owners who have put their own spin on the menu (Indian influence).Shashuka, eggs benedict and avo smash are good options.
I had freshly pressed mix of juices in the sun outside with an octopus salad. Nice corner cafe. Friendly waiters. A little bit expensive?
Needs to lift its game. My coffee was disappointingly bland and underpowered. It tasted like I imagine instant coffee mixed with dishwater would taste. My muesli cookie thingy was as dry as a medieval monk's manuscript and near inedible. The servers were more interested in themselves than the few scattered customers. No good can come of a performance like this.
There are plenty of options for breakfast at this restaurant. The three of us enjoyed a hearty meal with fried cauliflower and Spanish eggs with chorizo. The coffee was delicious and the service was excellent.
