Coffee was fine, food arrived quickly and was fine, good eggs, beans, toast and hash browns plus veggie bap. Very low quality catering sausages, though. Service was really strange. The American guy on the till was really friendly and efficient. Top marks to him, and to the woman who served our food to the table. 3/4 staff members were very helpful, friendly and efficient. However …. The female, young, member of staff wearing a vest top was *extremely* rude to a lady sitting next to us upstairs, who was completely minding her own business and was charging her phone. Lady had bought a cake and a coffee….
Great food, piled high. dog friendly, very welcoming, will definitely be back for more. What more can I say
Looking for something to eat during a stay at Glastonbury I found this cafe. Busy only with locals early on I was greeted by a friendly resident dog. Ordered a breakfast with extra mushrooms and potato’s. The breakfast was delicious but the potato’s were very dry so didn’t eat them. The only negative was some gossip overheard by the staff behind the counter. Didn’t add to the atmosphere to hear bitching. Other than that a great cafe and was full for the day
I made a quick stop at this restaurant and enjoyed a good cup of coffee in a friendly atmosphere, providing a relaxing break for 5 minutes.
