Crescent City Grill - Meridian

Been here many times, always great food and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I have long been a fan of CCG in Hattiesburg and was thrilled to find one located in Meridian. On my first visit there, we did have problems with service. But, as usual, the management went far and above beyond what was necessary to correct the issue. As I am preparing to bring a huge conference to the area, we selected CCG to host our private meetings. Their food, service, atmosphere, and willingness to work to accommodate us cannot be beat in Meridian. They are the best, period!

I was treated horribly and I don't know why. We were the only black people there and our waitress was extremely rude. She ignored us, she got our drink orders wrong and it was uncalled for. The nicer I was the ruder she was. I've eaten there before, but after my last I experience I will never go back. I even tried to speak with someone in charge and I was ignored repeatedly. I won't mention the waitress and bartenders name, but they were both mean and hurtful and I will never go back again. I was so embarrassed and ashamed I cried in my car after leaving. Please do something about the attitude of these people.

Crescent City Grill is my favorite restaurant in Meridian. The food is excellent and the bar area has a good atmosphere and lots of space. The only downside is that some servers are really good and some aren't. My favorites are the Eggplant Orleans (I'm not a big eggplant fan, but this dish is simply outstanding) and the Jambalaya Pasta. Their po-boys are really good and my wife loves the Mojo Chicken Salad. This place is much better and the food is more consistent than the chain restaurants that line the interstate.

We just happened to find Crescent City Grill when we were on our way back from Alabama. We were going to Chick-Fil-A but it was Sunday so they were closed. Boy were we lucky. We thought we would try it because there were enough cars to look like it was good but not too many to have a long wait. The food was absolutely the best I have tasted in quite a while. It was great. I have told many people about it since then and plan to come again. We have already picked out place to eat on the way back from a football game road trip. AAAAAA place to eat.
