The food here is absolutely fantastic. After recently moving to the area, I've been exploring various dining options, and AK definitely stands out for its delicious flavors and great value. The portions are generous, and I always leave feeling satisfied. It's truly comfort food at its best. If you're hesitant because of the vegan label, don't be! Just drop in, grab the BBQ tacos or Thai wrap, take a bite with your eyes closed, and you'll find yourself coming back regularly. And don't forget to try the cookies—they might just be the best I've ever had!

I ordered a delicious Thai Buddha bowl to take away, and they made it for me even though they were about to close. The flavors were wonderfully mixed. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

I absolutely love this restaurant! They offer fantastic plant-based recipes and it's easily the best spot in the borough. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, and the staff are really pleasant. The portion sizes are very generous too. I enjoyed my meal so much that I've started getting their meal prep options so I can savor these delicious dishes at home. Keep up the great work! Great food, friendly staff. Really well presented dishes, good soul food without any meat alternatives which is great to see where a lot of vegan and non vegan restaurants lean into the ease of alternative products. Everything appears and tastes home made. I had the burger and nachos. Would have loved space for a dessert but the portions are very generous. I was surprised that the side salad the burger came with was as satisfying as it was I'm a 100kg gym going 6'1 fella so saying a salad was tasty and satisfying goes miles toward explaining how good this place is! I also had the milkshake which was lovely Would definitely return if I find myself in Middlesbrough again.
