This pizza has potential to be really, really, really good. Unfortunately, it isnt. They have weird bread crumby crust. Makes a total mess and doesnt help the texure like corn meal would. If it was normal crust the pizza would be great. If they put cheese on the whole pizza it would be amazing. Make it 16 inches. Charge the same with a normal amount of cheese and no crumbs. .I feel like theyre trying too hard to be gourmet when all middletown really needs is a decent pizza spot. Gourmet in red bank

I ordered an Artichoke pie cause I had heard Basille's is known for it but while waiting I saw the pepperoni slice, the tiny little cup kind of pepperoni, had to have one! Yay! SO GOOD! Took my Art pie home with a couple Grandma slices which I warmed up day after....gotta say....I love their sauce, it's lightly caramelized which I also noted on the pep slice) and even reheated kept it's pleasant foldable soft crispy crust. The Artichoke pie was very, very tasty, rich and satisfying, would have loved it even more of the end crust could have been a bit more bready and puffed probably the wrong word to use when describing pizza crust but those who know probably know what I mean.
Best slice in Monmouth County. Hands down. Vodka slice will knock your socks off
