Ok where to start...my husband and I went to Blackstone for dinner and decided on Uno's over Red Robin which was a mistake. When we arrived the restaurant had maybe a handful of guests. We were not greeted and I asked if we had to seat ourselves to which we were then asked how many and seated. Our waitress was ok..she seemed impatient to take our order. Our drinks were wrong and i had to go to the bar myself after asking twice for the drinks to be fixed. The family that came in behind us waited a good 20 minutes before asking to be seated and the couple to our right left without ordering because they were there before us and had yet to be asked if they wanted drinks!!!! Food was ok but our waitress didn't come over once to see how we were or if we needed more drinks or anything. Sad to say all the staff looked miserable and it wasn't a happy experience.
Formerly have given 5 stars, but it seems it is being mis-managed, causing a domino effect in the rest of the business. I hope they can bring themselves back to the full five-star quality that they used to have, because I enjoy their food.
I can see why the reviews are low and agree..although our server was very sweet she was not knowledgeable about the menu, our food was served separately (5 minutes apart for both meal and dessert), service was very slow on a Saturday night with almost no one in the restaurant literally 3 tables had people. The restaurant was pretty dirty as well and I'm not sure what their protocols for food allergies are, but staff is definitely not following that. I can't say we would return here, I can see why the place was dead and the recent reviews are not exactly favorable. For the price you are paying to eat here, it's just a buyer's regret experience and would recommend one of the many other restaurants in the area
Terrible experience. We ordered nachos and a large deep dish pizza. We received burnt nachos 30 minutes after we ordered, with brown roasted cheese on top, such that you pull 1 nacho and 1/3 of the nachos come with it, with 2/3 plain nachos underneath. We sent the nachos back and declined a new order. We then received a medium 8 slice deep dish pizza (we ordered a large 10 slices), and when we questioned the size, the waitress said “oh it’s a large, the kitchen must have messed up and cut it wrong”. We have historically ordered large pizzas at Unos, and this was definitely a standard 8 slice pizza, NOT a large pizza. Shame on the waitress for trying to gaslight us into thinking otherwise or being too new to question it. We will not return after this episode.
