The highlight for me is definitely the soups. On a cold winter day in Minneapolis, a bowl of roasted cauliflower turmeric soup (creamy and flavorful) or quinoa sweet potato chili feels like a warm hug. The offerings change daily, but there’s always at least one vegan option available. You can also find a vegan protein pack, a cauliflower banh mi (delicious and available in the grab-and-go case), and several other options. One standout experience was during breakfast when I asked for a vegan dish. They had a sandwich on the menu that featured vegan versions of eggs, smoked meat, cheese, and more. It was reasonably priced at around $5, and I appreciated that they didn't rely on well-known herbivorous butcher products, which, while tasty, can be a bit overused. The person who made my sandwich was genuinely invested in their creation, which added to the experience. Not only did it taste fantastic, but I also felt that this was a business where employees were well-treated, happy, and encouraged to be creative.
We have ordered the steel-cut oatmeal buffet for breakfast several times, and it is fantastic! Everything is vegan if desired, and the oatmeal is perfectly prepared.
This place has more vegan options than any place in the skyway. they have a fleaflakes in the morning and vegan suppening options from 10:30-3:00. they also wear vegan baked biscuits from birchwood caffe, but are limited and after 2:00 clock they are halfway away so that they sometimes sell. all her coffee is organic and they can make all her coffee drinks vegan, except her chai has honey. they also have vegan salads, snack cups and meals. they even have a snack pack with herbivorous butchers cheese and jerk. there is also a tonne vegan snacks on their regals that they would often find in their local co-op. simply ask their employees to show them some options, they are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. they are also missions focused on local, sustainable, organic and craft products. this is my favorite place in skyway by far! they must visit this place.
From reading reviews on other sites there should have been vegan muffins, but they only had GF (with egg, but no dairy). No pastries/breakfast vegan stuff though. They were friendly, and seemed to have a couple of other vegan things. I didn't look too well (I was in a hurry), but it might not hurt to call ahead of time. If you're set on a vegan pastry, Go to the Angel Food Bakery where Hell's Kitchen is.
