Contribuisci feedbackI had an unpleasant experience with the cashier, Janey. She was unfriendly and seemed frustrated when I attempted to use my EBT card, as her terminal was not accepting it. I felt embarrassed when she suggested that I pay in cash instead.
I'm sorry to say that the TA truck stop has really gone downhill. While they do have relatively decent parking, you now have to pay for it, and the fees are becoming ridiculous. The interior could use a good cleaning as well. They have a restaurant, but it seems like they don't make full use of it, which is quite disappointing. There's also a Popeyes there, but it doesn't open until 11 AM, which means truckers miss out on having breakfast. The only hot food available is from the roller grill, usually just hot dogs, and that's not very appealing. I'm getting fed up with TA and Petro because they all seem to be the same lately. The corporation really needs to take this feedback seriously and start making some improvements.
No pay at the pump options available. You need to prepay a certain amount. The clerk mentioned you'll get your change back, but they couldn't specify when, as it depends on your bank. From now on, I'll choose Pilot or Love's.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I enjoyed the Popeyes chicken—it was delicious! The restrooms were clean, and there was a fantastic selection of snacks and quick meal options available. The team there was amazing, and I really appreciate their help in fixing my truck. Thank you!
There used to be a tattoo shop at that location, but now the only one nearby is at the Whitsett NC TA travel center, located at Exit 138 off I-40/I-85.
