David's of Crowbush - MORELL

We were couples who were accommodated a short notice booking. Staff were friendly. The lobster dinners were delicious. had the cod dinner: dinner the risotto tasted slightly burned and the other dinner risotto was undercooked. The cod was delicious and nicely presented....The restaurant offered a nice view too!

We were lucky to make it to David's on the last night before closing for the season. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We got one of two last lobsters and it was prepared perfectly. We would go again anytime.

We went for a light dinner. There were only two of us. We each ordered a glass of wine and two appetizers. Dinner lasted one and half hours. So slow and there were only to tables seated the whole time we were there....Food was fine not great. We did have better luck with the service at breakfast. Breakfast menu is quite good and food was very good.

We had dinner at Davids and must say a bit disappointed. They did not seem to have a lot of items. Lime for my drink, cocktail sauce for the oysters to name a few. They were very busy and I’m guessing very short staffed. We...waited about minutes to order and over minutes for our dinner. We had to ask for rolls. Lobster was good however the coleslaw and tiny potato that came with it were all soggy from all the lobster juice. Was disappointing.

We recently ate here for dinner whilst staying at the resort. We showed up quite late, which may explain why there was no hostess. We waited while the waiter/bartender set up a table for us. The food offerings, in my opinion, were quite limited. Both...my mother and I had the seafood chowder to start and for the main course, opted for the green mixed salad. The chowder was delicious, lots of mussels and a nice coloured broth. The salad had a citrus dressing; roasted pecans; dehydrated apples and a big piece of fried feta. The feta was divine! I didn't really like the dehydrated apples but the rest of the salad was good. For dessert, I had the creme brulee cheesecake. The cheesecake was absolutely fantastic. It was one small cheesecake and one small creme brulee surrounded by a sticky caramel sauce. My daughter had the chicken tenders and fries off then kid's menu. She loved them and polished off her plate. The service was friendly and prompt, once we had gotten settled in with the menus.
