Mean Machines - Morley

I visited this restaurant with my family and we absolutely loved the ambiance and the delicious food! The staff were very understanding and accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Mean Machines will appeal to the vintage/retro auto lover.  In  a large converted warehouse with soaring ceilings  in a semi retail/industrial area across from Morley Galleria shopping centre you'll find a  combination of motorcycle themed retro goods and apparel and a reasonably large cafe.  There are plans for an open air cinema during the warmer months once the car park out the back is tidied up.  A second premises diagonally opposite houses some truly gorgeous vintage cars and motorcycles.<br/ <br/ The cafe is at the rear of the warehouse and it wasn't until we were actually in the shop that we even realised it was there it doesn't have much of a street presence or signage to alert you to its presence.  <br/ <br/  The menu  is not extensive but has a sufficient variety of simple dishes and does not seem to be unreasonably priced.  We tried a bagel with smoked salmon, avocado and ricotta which at $14 was a more generous serving than at many cafes around Perth.  The baked eggs dish was also reasonable value at $16  but was actually poached eggs set atop a pesto and bean base.  Coffee was fine and service very friendly.  <br/ <br/ It's not hard to tell this has been a labour of love for someone with a true passion  and anyone who puts in that sort of effort deserves to succeed.  I hope they do well.

Friendly service, quality American diner-style food. I had the cheeseburger (pictured) a little heavy on the mustard but juicy patty and still delish. Friend had a classic-style brekky, which he enjoyed. Decent array of vintage nicknacks on the shop floor, which was fun to peruse through. Hope this place takes off!

We used a discount voucher and arrived late for our reservation. The staff were understanding and attentive, and the food was excellent without any faults. They even packed our dessert to go. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend.
