The food, service and atmosphere of this family-run local restaurant is excellent. Prices are more than fair. Whether you're a day or a local in town, I highly recommend. My favorites are the Muckalica, trout, grill and hand cut frits.
Absolutely worth the visit! Located in the historic center, just a few meters from the Hamam Museum, where walking tours start / end. I was here two days in a row and had the chance to taste her trout dish and spicy soup, and they were both delicious. For the trout I especially appreciated all the pages that came with it (bows, boiled potatoes, bread) that made it a perfectly balanced dish. Moreover, the service is polite and friendly, and they all speak a very good English!
Very nice staff. We had a late breakfast/breakfast lunch and it was really good. They also have a vegan option of grilled vegetables and bread. It was great:
Had a late dinner, food was amazing, especially the veal stew with vegetables and Kaymak. Friendly unpretentious hospitality. Good prices.
We've been here twice. They seem to have the best prices in Old Town. Stellar service. The food is very nice traditional food. They have some weird options on the menu I really wanted to try like fried brains, but they didn't have them. I guess brains have a season? Haha. This is a very nice restaurant. We enjoyed it a lot.
