New place Japanese Kitchen is not a very original name and neither is their sushi.

Finally tried out the local JapaneseGrabbed some sushi while on the run to a quiz night that was BYO dinner..

It's a simple Japanese cafe with your standard fare but cheap pricesThe vegetable tempura was great value and had nice flavour and crunch.

Went for a bento box - good value. Polite staff. The food all looked nice and cooked to order (no sitting in trays all day). The bento box came with 2 small pieces of sushi which were delicious. Next time I'd probably get sushi. Reasonably priced and very filling.

Good menu range and prices, the sushi was good and fresh according to my daughter and the meals including my Katsu chicken were large. The tempura was a bit oily though.
