Lomandras - Narangba

Have had lunch there a few times. Food is always good. Staff sometimes get overrun if they get plenty of walk ins.

Booked a table on a Saturday evening at this venue, and was thoroughly disappointed. Such a shame as it could be a great option for a nearby good food venue.The "restaurant" just looks lost and forgotten and was used as a thoroughfare for people going out to smoke from a private wedding they had next door. It has absolutely no ambiance and feels like you really shouldn't be there. Weird. The menu is small with very few choices but is fairly expensive. We were very surprised that my complaint from the first time I visited wasn't acted upon as they were still serving me the Bruchetta with Pesto on, despite the Pesto element not mentioned on the menu. I complained again anyway. Also surprised that the very expensive burger was just that... A burger. No fries of side salad included or even offered when we ordered. Couldn't wait to leave... I won't be returning.

As a Lomandras clubcard member you get offered a free bottle of wine with lunch or dinner in your birthday month. We went for husband's birthday and had a very pleasant lunch. Garlic chiabata was enough for 2 to share. We then had the lamb ragout pie with fries and salad. Very tasty and filling. Salad could have done with a little bit of dressing though. Wine was lovely, we chose red and were given a Rothbury Estate Cab Merlot which was a good drop as the free birthday wine. We have been here for breakfast a few times and always enjoyed our meals. Prices are reasonable, and we felt the meal we had was a good portion size. Menu changes seasonally so always different things to choose from.

Came here for lunch for my husband's birthday celebration. Loving the new menu & table service. Much improvement on the old service. We were all very happy with our meals including portion sizes & prices. The peaceful surroundings are beautiful & it is a most relaxing place to be for a few afternoon drinks. Lovely friendly staff too. Spot the kangaroos on the fairways!

Let me start at the end - there are far too many great places to eat on the north side of Brisbane, this just doesn't happen to be one of them. Expensive, small portioned, taste lacking food, and junk staff. No wonder the place was empty... Went there for lunch and ordered a 'Main' Pureed Avocado and partner ordered Sweet Chili Chicken Noodle Salad. I've attached the picture of the first main - complete joke. It was 2 pieces of toast with some avocado. I saw bigger starters being brought out... The chicken salad was also lacking in flavor and included no coriander even though it was the first item listed in the dish description. Water provided to table had a strange taste and glasses had finger prints on them. After the meal i gave polite feedback to the waiter that i was disappointed in the size of the meal and that it should be listed under starters as it was misleading to include a meal that size with the mains. She seemed void of any emotion and walked away. Zero feedback from staff or manager. There was no further follow up service to the table after this and we had to make our own way to the bar and ask to pay. At least the staff service complements and is in tune with the food on offer - lacking and pathetic. At least don't change that - it enhances the full effect of being ripped off.
