Stopped in by chance and found a great place with good food, friendly lunch staff and large portions. Looks like the wife and I found a great place to stop on the way to the coast Second year, second stop! This time brought our daughter along. Portions are still huge, same great lady serving lunch. Looks like the start of a tradition Post CoVid and open! Still great food! Still nice service. July 2022- seems like we just found this place. Now it is a regular stop in the way to the beach for the 4th! Are you looking for a great place to stop in the way to Long Beach, consider eating lunch here. Ignore the one-star **** posted! Still make good food and run by nice people.

Food was delicious and great service despite being short staffed. They forgot the bacon on one of the burgers but the problem was corrected quickly. Coleslaw and potato salad were very tasty. Fried fish was so good!

We had the Loggers burger and Chipotle burger with fries and they were really good. The service was great and very clean. No issues.

Saw the 8 five star reviewers and was worried we'd be disappointed! We weren't! The food was just as good as we'd hoped. It wasn't very busy which is surprising. Our order came quickly and was super tasty. The fish sandwich was crispy and delicious, well appointed as you can see! The clam chowder was not too heavy and filled with potatoes and clams the best I've had! Brain was super nice and helpful! Definitely worth the stop! I lost at pull tabs and am still giving 5 stars
