The Preserved Seed - Nelson

The food was very good, the setting is great, the service is slower and relaxed but very good and the people running the place all make it an enjoyable spot to have a nice meal.

Three of us had lunch. I had the veggie sub. It was just average, I wouldn't order it again. Service was good and prices are good

I really enjoyed my experience at The Yellow Deli in Nelson. We got a table on their covered porch with a beautiful view. The dinning room has a lot of character. The music is quiet and lovely. Our waitress was warm and welcoming. I ordered their Spinwich, which was delicious, but the sauce was a little too sweet. It's very cheesy, hot, and contains a spinach/egg-omelette-thing. I also tried my companion's vegetable sandwich, which was not as good. Subway makes a better vegetable sandwich, although it's probably not as healthy as Yellow Deli's.

Great food, exactly what I expected for the price. The breakfast sandwich, fruit and yogurt cup and coffee were great. The service was extremely friendly. The atmosphere, the view and the music let me start my day very relaxed, happy and satisfied.

Now called The Yellow Deli, this is one of the cutest and coziest little luncheon cafes I've been to. Rustic and unique decorations are masterfully arranged for private and separate eating spaces in this two story transformed house. Food is great, service friendly and prompt and prices, as expected, a little more than the average lunch, but worth it. We would definitely go back for the food and the experience.
