Morrow's - New Orleans

I visited Morrow’s last weekend and I absolutely enjoyed myself. We did not have to wait long to be seated, however I suggest going early to find parking. I was impressed by the food, all of my dishes were well seasoned and a nice portion size. The restaurant has a very modern aesthetic paired with a great music playlist makes this place a vibe.

Fried chicken, mac cheese, and yams were some of the most delicious food I've ever eaten! Took off a star because the music is a little too loud, and the bartender, who was our server, forgot to top off our drinks. I also wasn't a fan of the 20% gratuity because, unfortunately, service wasn't worth that. Also, the strawberry lemon drop was Crazy good!!

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and the recommendations for Morrow's were plenty. We went and had such a great time! I had the red beans and rice with fried chicken. The chicken was the best I've ever had in my life. Crispy outside; tender and juicy inside. Cocktails weren't so great for my standards but it's ok. The joy shared in the room as people sang their favorite songs as they celebrated birthdays, weddings, or just a fun night out with friends was electric. Worth whatever the wait time is. I will definitely return on my next trip to NO.

Amazing visit, we came down from Tennessee for my Auntie Birthday
