Old Rose - New York

2 of our pastas had absolutely no taste and the third one was mediocre. The fish was just ok. Not sure how they are surviving with so many other good Italian restaurants in NYC! Will never go back!

I visited this restaurant previously and had a good experience. i went back this past weekend (i should state that it was valentine’s day, so that could attribute to the poor experience) and had a horrible time. to start, the waiter was extremely inattentive while the restaurant was essentially dead. we asked him for his opinions on 4 different dishes and he said he would not recommend any of them. we finally did order and we received our entrees immediately as if they were pre-plated and sitting under heat lamps. they served us our appetizers about 45 minutes later, only after we finally tracked down our waiter and asked. a dish that i have ordered in the past and loved, was thrown together and tasted like they had forgotten salt. it’s a gorgeous restaurant, but i will not be returning

Old Rose has a great atmosphere, is very close to the Whitney (our afternoon activity), but had plenty of space, no wait, and great service despite being right near the busy High Line Area. Would definitely love to come back soon!

Delicious and great decor/atmosphere. Will come back again.

Have been here for brunch and much preferred my food then. The dinner was so underwhelming, especially for the price. Gorgeous setting made up for it a bit.
