I have dietary restrictions and they were not only helpful but so understanding and supportive! Melissa behind the bar had the best music playlist and made a mean cocktail. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
Good size place, however you feel a bit cozy when inside as they use the space wisely while still maintaining an open atmosphere. The great aroma of wood cooked food circles around the entire place. Great for a quick bite with family or friends!
The Texas chili is the real reason I 'm writing this review. Whatever was served to me named Texas chili was totally inedible. Absolutely nothing but grease and slop was in the bowl. Not nearly enough sauce on anything BBQ , mostly dried out pork definitely needed it. Cole slaw was tinted brown and sandwich was cold. I gave 2 stars only cause beer was pretty good from tap and actual building was very nice (although interior was dead silent since not busy at all when we went)... This was our first and definitely last time here.
First time I ever had the food! Excellent flavorful ribs, as well as side dishes. Brisket was a little tuff but didn't diminish the food
Not sure about the reviews with comments of servings, price or quality. Went as group of 5 everything was ? !!! I order 1/4lb servings and was more than satisfied!The ordering is simple, awesome chef/pitmaster was happy to explain and offer serving suggestions. He had just sliced into the most beautiful barked slow smoked brisket, I asked if could have burnt end, he served it right up!! WOW! this is real BBQ! Smokey, warm, fat rendered out, moist, rosey red smoke ring. The pulled pork was moist, small amount of heat, tender, just delicious. ? the sides of pickles and pickled onions add great acid. The corn bread was so good, must get. The Cole slaw was dressed to taste dressing and not swimming in liquid I like more caraway seeds in mine but this is excellent CS.I tried one rib and was excellent, comes off bone but doesn’t slide off, which is sign of overcooking/steamed or for inconsistency in storage temps.…. The owner and staff absolutely know the craft of slow low and the quality of food shows it!!!! nice ring, perfect smoke. I tried sauces, very good BUT this is real smoked BBQ can stand on own with no sauce, the Devil knows his craft!!!!The bar is well stocked, lots of great bourbons, local beers although I had a Texas Steiner, ice cold and pairs great with smoked meats bar tender was very nice and checked in on us.Will be returning, will be getting sandwich and hot links next time.This is real Bbq, is 100 worth and trip.
