Mcdonald's - Newton

During our fall vacation trip to Tennessee, we stopped at a restaurant and attempted to order through the drive-thru. Unfortunately, no one took our order despite our wait. We then drove around to the window to place our order, only to be ignored by two employees. The service we received was terrible.

This was the best meal I have ever had from a McDonald's! I got takeout for breakfast and it was delicious. The price per person was very affordable, ranging from $1-10. The food and service both received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the McMuffin when you visit.

We have had good experiences at this restaurant before, but today was disappointing. My fries were cold, while my husband's were warm (I specifically go to this place for their fries). His custom sandwich was prepared correctly, but my burger was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because we used the drive-thru. We visited around 12:30 on a Saturday, so we expected our food to be hot. Unfortunately, my Dr. Pepper was flat and warm. If we had dined in, we would have returned over half of our items, but we had already left the parking lot. Overall, it was not a great experience. Service for takeout was lacking, the lunch menu was priced between $1-10 per person. The food was rated 2 out of 5, service received a 4, and the atmosphere was a 3. The only recommended dish would be the Dr. Pepper.
