It was dry and tasted like it was cooked with turmeric and maybe curry powder. I was expecting a saucy noodle with lots of chilli as I asked. The chicken was bony and wasn't very nice either. It was quite disappointing. As there are other noodle places around, I'd rather go to one of them and will be next time.
At the other end of Cockburn Gateway near Woolworth is a little stall selling pretty cheap Chinese. $8.50 for a small combination or $9.50 for a large. Or you can opt for something off the menu ... As far as little stalls go this is somewhat of a treat, I order off the boards and have always ended up with a decent meal. It's a way from the hustle and bustle of the food court, and good to see a non franchise business giving it a go. The food is cooked fresh eg, salt and pepper squid was battered at the time of order, not frozen ahead of time, like so many other restaurants. Give this place a chance, you won't be disappointed!!!
