Went there for Friday dinner with friends. Good food paired with great customer service. Nuanced lighting provides reluxed ambiance. Set menu let you taste a number of different small dishes and offer good value. Will go nack there again for sure.and

Tasty, enjoyable meal. We really enjoyed the food but were puzzled by the non Japanese feel of it. This is not a criticism of the food but a disconcerting deviation from what we expected. For instance, the tempura of the day wasn't tempura. Rather than being deep fried in light tempura batter, it was cooked in fine breadcrumbs tasty but not tempura. The presentation lacked the Japanese touch. The decor was neither Japanese upmarket nor Japanese grot.Once you adapted your expectations and settled into the food it was enjoyable for itself.
