La Madeleine serves many amazingly irresistible goodies. Some beautiful cakes are displayed, and other options can be found in their extensive menu. Among four ladies, we opted for savoury pancakes and different croissant options, savoury and sweet. Just delish! Their coffee is strong which I loved (not everyone around the table did, however).
A quaint and cute little cafe but food was a little underwhelming. Had the french baguette with pulled pork - baguette was dry and hard to chew on but pulled pork was generous. Would love to come back to try their other items on the menu.
Food was enjoyable but extremely overpriced for what it was. Ordered the crepes and it was quite small. The "caramalised banana" was just chopped up banana. Came to about $40 for two coffees and two meals, and we were still quite hungry. Food was above average, but really small serves for what you pay. Value for money just isn't there.
I can't say anything bad about this gorgeous spot on the parade. The lunch options are good, quiche is delicious. Their baked items and sweet treats are so tasty, you won't know what to choose. My favorite item is their pistachio and raspberry croissants, they are so delicious and so irresistible. They also now have a set up at Marion which is great for those who live in the West. It's only a small place so often it's tricky to get a table but stop in even if you want to take something home to enjoy later, you won't regret it.
