Hesselet - Nyborg

The Hesselet Restaurant is outfitted with the veneer of “fine dining” ... complete with linen covered tables, fine stemware, and hushed service. But, it has starting to feel a little tired and worn, with frayed carpet, dated wood paneling, and old smells. In order to defend the menu price they are desperately in need of a fresh coat of paint and new flooring. The food was adequate but not exceptional, and the options were very limited. They offer a tasting menu and accompanying wines, but as I was dining alone, I opted for the omelette, which was just an omelette nothing special, nothing offensive.

Very nice place for an exclusive evening out. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and great food. Go with the waiters recommandation.

My wife and I had an absolutely excellent lunch. We had turbot served with a tasty lobster sauce and white asparagus. Top class food and attentive and service minded staff.

Fremragende mad, meget skarpe smage og god vin. Ligeledes en opmærksom og forklarende service. Til den pris får man en gourmet oplevelse
