Taste Of China - Oakhurst

We usually have meals delivered but on this occasion we were in town, also delivery changed $15!!, only 5 miles.The menu has really changed as well as prices and offerings. I normally order lunch for 1 for dinner. I started to place my order and was abruptly told no, this only for lunch. Now what..well had two order just sweet and sour pork which is more food than I can eat in a week, price was more. Husband ordered beef and green beans, beef amount was minimal and tough, beans weren't crisp. Decided to order fried rice-ouch. Price $40+ Won't be going back anytime soon.

Food was not what expected, very dull taste I've travel and try Chinese food so believe when I say I've had my fair share of Chinese food and this has to be the worst place I've ate Chinese food at orange chicken lack of flavor , kung pao chicken smelled very bad and tasted just as much , beef and broccoli was lacking flavor, pork fried rice was mid , and the spice chow mei was mid as well overall food was not great by any means service was good not recommend, I recommend them having to update they cooking cuz it's seriously be lacking in every way

The good news. It's chinese food the lady is very nice. She talks very fast.We ordered 3 dishes and a drink. It took very long for the 3rd dish to be ready. Therefore the 2 other dishes were cold.The first dish was beef chow fun. I've ordered this dish all over the world. I've never had it served with so many vegetables and so little chow fun. It was rather bland.The Third dish beans and beef. Has that before too. Was well prepared . The beef was soft. Unfortunately they added to many black beans which made the dish very salty If You order this I suggest you order this with white riceThe 3 dish. Most expensive one 20 usd was a complete let down. One of my FAV Chinese dishes Salt and pepper calamari. Since it was cold it had gone soft. The calamari was way too chewy. But worst part they forgot to salt and pepper. So the dish had no flavor at all. To say it was bland would be an understatement.Then there was the milk tea. The tea was very very strong.

The food is so delicious and the decor is so cute in here!! ?? Staff is wonderful, so helpful and patient with the Yosemite crowd. Food IS flavorful and HOT! I got the chicken chow mein (lunch) and the proportions are HUGE definitely could have sharedShout-out to the lovely staff! You guys rock
