Sunshine Bakery - Oakley

A decent little spot. we were originally confused because sunshine bakery is in the daylight doughnuts building. You can only see that when you get right in front of the door where they have a little door sticker with the words. no idea why google list them separately. the people were kind. the food and the coffee were good, nothing great, but nice. $4 breakfast sandwich seemed a touch high, but they were fresh and warm. very busy. when they're late on Saturday, they expect them to run out of the dingen!

Asked if she had filled cream long john they made fun of me behind a partially opened window. the price is high. sugar glazed, much more than normal. quality was low in average.

A pretty jewel in this little town. it seems to be the local hangout. the staff is super friendly and there is a good selection of good. beautiful inside seats.

We live in Lawrence, and have been in here twice in the past month on our way back from Colorado trips after staying the night in Oakley. Great vibe and atmosphere, family friendly, and the nicest people! This has become a tradition for us anytime we’re on the road!

Traveling through from Ohio and this spot was exactly what we needed! Good coffee, good food, good atmosphere, and good people!
