Emily's - Ocean Shores

Very good food service was attentive expansive coastal views. The bacon on The Burger was sooo thick...like smoked pork belly. Yuuum. The fish Tacos were delicious...grilled fish with a tasty sauce. We were there for lunch, so no issues with seating.

Crab had no flavor. Halibut had no flavor, and it was dry. The ribeye was good, but under cooked. The fried Brussel sprouts had terrible flavor, and texture. The mushroom, and garlic bread starter was delicious. It was a long wait for our food, and they were not very busy. The service was good, and the restaurant was very clean. The ambiance was ok. For the price we felt we did not get our moneys worth. We will not eat there again.

Choose Emily's for 40th anniversary dinner..my dinner seemed to be warmed up from another night. Brussel sprouts so well done I had to peal the burnt layers off! Rice (old), steak good, but so covered with some kind of sauce..icky. My hubby's dinner was (1) piece of fish, dried out fries. The appetizer was 5 shrimps with warm dried out greens. Dessert was chocolate cake and got my hopes up, but it was old and dry. The only bright spot were the drinks and our server, Red. A $150.00 meal!!!!!!!

Weird interaction with the hostess the 1st day. Like awkward lol however the waitress (had the same one for breakfast 2 days) was really good and sweet. The breakfast prices weren't bad at all and the food was good and plentiful. However we didn't eat dinner there at all during our stay. Seems like dinner time is high priced and fancy lol Tuesday morning was quiet. Wednesday is senior day so it was a lot busier. Really nice view of the ocean if you get the right seat.
