Ocean Lounge At Quinault Beach Resort

It 's been a while since we 've been 'home ' to Grays Harbor. Quinault Resort has done some upgrades! The rooms have been refurbished: new beds, TV, the walk-in shower with rain feature was amazing. The wall fireplace was enjoyed, it got chilly at night. After a few hours of gaming, we needed a snack, and the Ocean Lounge fit the bill perfectly. Our waiter Jonathan recommended the smoked salmon appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. We also picked the razor clam strips, that turned out to be some of the best I have ever had. Jonathan said that all of the seafood is locally sourced, and it sure tasted fresh. And yummy! From check in, to gaming, eating and checking out, everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

It 's past midnight. I 'm in a beautiful room on the 3rd floor overlooking the ocean and there 's a massive truck outside my window with a pressure washer that 's been going for more than an hour and a half. The phone in the room didn 't work so I had to get dressed and walk down to the front desk. When I got there I had to wait because of how many calls they were getting about the noise. Once I escalated the issue, Michael the General Manager said there was nothing he could do, other than temporarily move me across the campus to a different room and then move me back the next day. With no compensation, whatsoever. He said, he knew how loud it was because he had been out there to hear it. He said there was nothing he could do about it. The general manager of a casino said there was nothing he could do about it. Never apologized. Good luck...

BED BUGS Attempted to stay 1/26/24 and had to pack up our 5 month old baby and all belongings at 10pm, my boyfriend saw a bed bug crawling on the sheet, took it downstairs and the front desk lady even seemed a little taken aback, seemingly knowing what it was. We were told a manager would be calling us tomorrow. Immediately Googled bed bug and it was an exact match, although I knew what it was right when I saw it. I wish we would 've taken a picture but we were so worried about getting our baby out of there. We found another review from 11 months ago of a lady finding one in the curtain in her room. We were in room 411, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Saturday night my friend pulled a bed bug crawling on the curtain in room 208, took it down stairs to the front desk. The next morning the front desk stated that if it in fact was a bed bug they would not charge me for my room. They have a private company (Orkan? who address these issues and they would let me know. Turns out I got charged for the room and no follow up from them I would be skeptical about staying there, I go every year to an NA convention there and will not stay there again

Not as advertised. It’s not a spa. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The food was average. The room, however, was nice.
