Bleu - Orlando

This poolside restaurant serves surprisingly tasty dishes. The ropa vieja nachos are a highlight—both unique and flavorful. The fish tacos are light, delicious, and satisfying. The bacon burger was excellent too. However, the fajita in the quesadilla was a little tough. Our waiter delivered exceptional service.

The food is on the expensive side, which is typical for a luxury hotel. We ordered a classic burger with a Caesar salad, a churrasco quesadilla, another classic burger with fries, and a pitcher of fresh farm sangria. I was the only one who genuinely enjoyed the meal and the sangria. My burger was cooked to perfection, and while the Caesar salad was small, it featured a delicious dressing and high-quality parmesan cheese. The sangria was light and refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness, making it a delightful complement to our meal in the lovely weather.

The food was only warm, and the server didn’t come to check on us until we were almost finished with our meal.

I don't have any complaints about this place. It's a pool bar at the Ritz, so prices are a bit elevated for relatively simple dishes, but the quality is excellent. I ordered the quesadilla and later the fish tacos, and both were delicious. They were brought directly to my lounge chair by the pool. There's a great variety of drinks available, and the service by the pool is impressively quick.

As guests at the Ritz, we anticipated a high standard of service. However, we were taken aback to find that an automatic gratuity was added to our bill for just two adults and one child. I had to request water twice! If a gratuity is included, the service should definitely reflect that. We were there for lunch, and it took more than an hour to receive a kid's burger and a turkey wrap.
