They ran out of tomato. No biggie, I added my own at home but that's kind of a big deal for a sub place, don't you think? Restroom (ladies) was gross. Unfair to staff and customers to be so cheap on labor. Everyone suffers and it kills moral. So typical for central Florida. When you finally do have staffing right, half of them call in sick or don't show up. Oh well.
Staff was rude and complained about having to work while making our sandwiches. I understand working on a holiday can suck but I find it rude to express that while serving customers. Bread looked undercooked and they carelessly put our sandwiches together in a rush to get us out of the store so they could go and hang out in the back. We have been to this one before a couple of times and absolutely love the manager that works here but the staff today made our experience very unpleasant.
We were absolutely discussed with the service at the subway at John Young and Town Center yesterday afternoon. From the moment we walked in we noticed this particular employee, I belive her name was Imani, was working with a bad attitude taking care of the customers in front of us. At taking my order I had to repeat myself, she left my tuna sandwiches seating on the counter after she took them out of the oven getting cold and exposed to bacterias in the air, that's very unsanitary and unprofessional, because she had the audacity to take care of other people behind us. She was supposed to finish preparing our order first, wrap the subs first before they got cold and continue with our salad since her coworker was attending other people in front. We walked out empty handed and extremely angry. This has been the worst service ever. If she doesn't want to work she should be fired or learn how to take care of paying customers, is not like we were getting them for free.
Two staff people working there. They seem to be more concerned with baking the bread and setting up, than customer service. Even though we were the only customers, we had to wait while they are busy doing other things.
I been going to subway for over 10 years now, always love it, I know there motive is to always serve fresh and be friendly . This particular location I did not like at all. The two ladies who worked in the front were extremely rude one was older and younger both were disgustingly rude and kept rushing me. None of them smiled I felt extremely uncomfortable here.
