This included mixed hot and cold appertizers for the table, a first course of mushroom ravioli, a choice of either monkfish or lamb and a slice of cake with home made nut ice cream. The atmosphere in the restaruant was good, with pleasant lighting and comfortable furniture. The appertizers were a treat, were varied and they were all tasty. The ravioli followed with the same quality. However, the main course for all of us, both for monkfish and lamb, were overcooked. The fish had the consictency of rubber, while the lamb was tough. A huge let down. However, the desert was decently balanced between sweet and salty. It was also quite irritating that the wine was consistently served below the mark . This made the wine overpriced and it felt as we were cheated. All in all, the visit was OK, probably due to the atmosphere of the group.
Not so professional but very friendly staff. The food was quite salty but nevertheless really tasty and of good quality. The burrata with peach was a delicious combination. The hanger steak with truffle risotto and mushroom was luscious.
Great waiter, terrible food. The bread was getting stony. The fat of the crudités was turning yellow at the edges. The mixed sea platter was soft and unappetizing. The water well heated. The white wine lukewarm. Today’s pasta kind of non-de script. It seamed that nobody cared. As a chef, if that person was around, I would suggest a change of profession.
Went there not knowing what to expect for a late lunch on a rainy afternoon when I didn’t want to venture too far. The lunch menu is a little limited so I opted for the 2 course special: a selection of 4 antipasti dishes followed by a pasta dish. The food was goo and the service very attentive. The interior is nice and cozy, just right for a rainy day, but they also have some good outdoor seating when the weather permits.
Thank you very much to the Polish waitress for her superb friendly service. The food was also well above average and not too outrageously priced for being Oslo :
