We ordered the "Syabusyabu Gozen" on the suggestion of the lady taking our order. It was a great mix of pork, beef and sea food, with sushi and other things of course! In fact the lady made the beef dish live in front of us. Good food with good ambience! I guess the best way to eat the best dish at a first time restaurant is to ask the staff what is that they make best- you are seldom to make the wrong choice then. You can see from the photos how rich the spread looks! I feel they can work a little on their taste, but loved the beef! Overall a good experience :)
A real legit japanese restaurant in Ortigas BD! Had the sashimi gozen which is a set menu and it was really worth your money! My companion had the sushi gozen and he was all too happy with his order. The servers were also attentive and helpful as they try to elaborate the listed dishes on the menu. The ambiance is good as well you can have a good and relaxing meal with your friends or even have a casual business meeting over food.
Price is a bit on the high side (most high quality authentic Japanese restos are anyway) but this is one of the best ones in Ortigas CBD in my opinion. Two thumbs up! :)
Such a disappointment! I went there with my co-workers and that time they were offering 50% off to ramen, we arrived there at 12pm since our office is just located beside Hanston Square, it took 10mins before someone approached us for our orders. We were told that our order would take 15-20 mins which is fine but worst because it was already 1:00pm and the waiters/just keep on telling us they they're following it up. There's no manager who's handling the customer complaints, bad customer service, they didn't even bother to offer us something. I ended up cancelling my order because it was already past 1pm and we had to go back to the office.
This is a lavish brand in Japan. I'm honored that they decided to have a branch in PH. They don't serve food, they serve art. And they stay true to their sumo wrestler motif as most dishes served to you are hot, and big. If you visit ramen nagi on a regular basis, skip it once and go here, prices are not that different, and they're not so mainstream therefore less people, which is what I like to do, to eat relaxed.
