Finnigans - Pembroke

I can't recall the last time I had such a terrible dining experience. The food was mediocre at best, and I even found bones in my hot turkey sandwich. The service from the waitstaff and chefs was abysmal. They completely disregarded our needs, unless it was time to bring the check, then suddenly they became all smiles and friendliness. This was the first time I have ever left without leaving a tip. I have no intention of ever returning to this restaurant.

The food was delicious. The Roast Beef-Dip was very enjoyable. The roast beef was tasty and tender, and the French fries were beautifully crispy. The only thing that could have made it better for me was a more substantial bread... I added some Mozzarella cheese to enhance it; delicious! My friend enjoyed her chicken Caesar wrap and the deep fried zucchini sticks were also very good. The portions were generous and we had no room for dessert. Our server, Kristen, was delightful. Friendly, professional, and attentive; a true asset to this establishment. Highly recommended.

Ordered two meals. Shepard’s Pie was great. Schnitzel was terrible. It was at least overcooked, but maybe double cooked! Vegetables were a stale watery mess. Baked potato was good. Waitress didn’t appear to ask how things were until I had eaten half of it, so...it was too late I guess to exchange it. The waitress said she was sorry and that she would inform the chef. She went straight back and told the chef the schnitzel was overcooked. We heard him say, “l know” and he turned and walked away. If he knew, one wonders why he served it in the first place! They knocked me a couple dollars off the price, but they got that back on the beer, $15.90 for two Rickard’s Red. Very disappointed. We won’t be back. We don’t recommend the place.

Just finished having dinner, hot turkey sandwich and coffee. The sandwich was neither hot nor good the coffee was luke warm. When the waitress asked how the food was and I told her (bad she did not tell the manager and when asked if she...had she said there no management here tonight ,if it 's that important to call the restaurant (really!!! Won 't go back bad food,bad service,bad attitude

Ok I realize it's patio dining only but you would think with limited tables the service would be a little better. We were seated promptly and ordered promptly. Our meal took over 45 minutes to arrive. A plate of nachos and a Philly cheese steak...sandwich! Fries were cold, sandwich warm to touch but the cheese wasn't even melted. We watched another table seated after us order, eat and depart before we received ours!! Waitress was largely not to be seen and had to be tracked down indoors to get the bill. Want a good tip? EARN IT!!!!
