When calling to book a tee time, I was offered a hostile and rude attitude by an older clubhouse employee. I was actually laughed at when I asked for tee time openings between a specific time. Online, the course gives the feel of a luxurious and expensive experience, country club-esque. The prices reflect. However, the course did not live up to the hype. The tee boxes were decent at best, and the fairways weren't in great shape. The greens however, were really solid. Some of the best greens I've played on. But I found myself incredibly unimpressed with the state of the fairways and tee boxes. If it weren't for the greens, and the challenging nature of the course, my rating would be lower. Between the staff, state of the course, and prices, my first time at Lost Key will also be my last.
I want to leave the review for their restaurant. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The menu offers basics, but food is fresh, tasteful and reasonably priced. I ate there several times. Florentine omelette and shrimps and grits are my favourites. My husband had breakfast platter and my son ordered French toast. We all liked our food and will eat here again.
Great layout. Rough is ROUGH but being narrow fairways it helps knock down pulls and slices. Great staff very friendly. Course is well maintained. If i move down here this will be my bread and butter place to play.
Huge shoutout! Great course for a quick round. Got partnered with a couple people and they were also. Thanks lost key!highly recommend!
