I had takeaway lunch from here, ordering the pad kee mao- basil chilli stirfry noodles with beef. I asked for not too hot but just a little too spicy for me, still delicious. This dish is meant to be extremely hot so be careful if you can't eat very very spicy!

Walked around the Shafto Lane area trying to decide on where to eat... so glad we chose this place. The establishment itself is inviting and funky... unfortunately the smell was also quite funky (drain issue apparently) That was the only negative though. We had the mixed plate entree which really was excellent. Best Thai fish cakes ever had and the rest was really good in particular the satay sauce.We then had calamari, duck rice paper wraps and Thai spiced beef (VERY SPICY! Be warned!) All really very good and nicely presented and came out in good time. Service was excellent too, great staff.Bought a bottle of red from the near by bottle shop $8 corkage (bit pricy) however at $65 for the meal we can't complain.Best Thai meal we've had in perth including Red Opium.

Discovered this place five years ago when turned away from a popular eatery nearby. Our local family has gone back regularly since then (now under new name/owners).This visit was a mixed bag. I think the variety is good, the small plates excellent and the food generally superior to what passes for Thai food in our home city. We dined here, this time with a booking for six, at the end inside table on a busy Friday night. It was packed out, frantically busy, and extremely noisy. Food came promptly, was exactly as ordered, and good standard.Two of the party retired and left the four of us to linger over desserts, to fill up the teenagers. This was a huge mistake. I started asking at 20 minutes delay, 25 minutes and so on. I tried to cancel them, but was told, as before, soon, soon. Meantime, the large group tables behind us were getting drunker and louder (and we were getting sober!). Four impatient people all staring expectantly at the servery counter only to have our hopes dashed. Finally delivered without any proper explanation or apology.Redeeming feature as I paid the bill was it totalled $141 for six, by far the cheapest meal and best value over ten days of living in and eating around Perth CBD.

Stumbled across this hidden Gem tucked away in the shafto lane. The food is fantastic full of flavour, generous servings and at a good price. The service from the staff was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place .
