The food is amazing and there are so many options. We really appreciate that there is no pork prepared in the restaurant. The owners are friendly and professional, and it is obvious they have a passion for sharing their food with their community!! We have been there several times now and we've tried many different items: fried chicken, fried fish, lamb chops, fried fish po'boy, mac&cheese, collards, cabbage, rice, sweet potatoes. All delicious!! We've tried different flavors and different sauces... always a great experience!! There are also several interesting dessert options. We highly highly recommend visiting Soul D'Lysh. No matter the distance... the food is worth the drive!

The food here is amazing!! So much flavor packed in. The owner is also so sweet and such an amazing person!

Must try!! Everything was DELICIOUS! We had the fried chicken, mac cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, chicken po boy, corn bread, pineapple coconut cake and apple peach cobbler. We had the “soul spice” sauce and it was flavorful and SPICY! Any spice enthusiast will want to try this sauce! The chicken was hot, crispy outside and juicy inside. Really friendly and fast service. Had to go back inside to get a second cake because it was THAT good!

This is strictly based on wait time unfortunately, we didn't get to taste the food here...we were initially told it would take about 15 20 minutes for food...after waiting about 15 minutes we asked again and were told it would be another 30 minutes. We cancelled our order as that wait time is just too much...just expect to wait quite a bit ‍
