Just come back from our third stay in The Black Swan in Pickering. Cannot wait to go back again. We stay in pub, hotels etc on a regular basis, this is one of the best we stay in. Yes I have read the bad reviews, goodness me some people really need to travel/get out more. Rooms spotless, warm and cosy, (even the spooky one, lol) The staff and owners cant do enough to make your stay pleasurable. If you have any life changing problems like your beans at breakfast not to your liking, say so, I guarantee it will be sorted. Cannot praise enough. Go for a visit, you 'll have a lovely time. Booked for a meal on a Saturday night and despite it being extremely busy staff were very prompt, friendly and attentive. Liked the quirky decor and atmosphere. We both had pies and they were very tasty also selection of few different beers brewed on site was bonus! will be visiting again. Service: 5 Location: 5
