Amazing service, great manhattans, super tasty eating.
We had reservations at 8:15 o'clock. after 8:45 clock was taken a little space. Eating was not bad, but not worth what they pay. these are ruth chris prices when no longer, but the quality was not ruth chris or another chic steakhouse. we had the rockefeller oysters, ribeye steak and mais. again, eating was not bad, only expensive for what they get.
We came to dal rae for my father's birthday party. we brought him here last year and had a great time. this time we invited other family members and a reservation some weeks in advance, but it was disappointing. we sat on a round table in the main kitchen room and not on one we had demanded. the seat of my brother was wet, they wiped it off, but we realized after there was a leak from the ventilation above the drop on the arm. the owner would not move us into a stand because someone more important had asked him and instead he had dropped the table over a few feet, so that I was then hit on the people the next table. they were also unhappy about it. the waitress was nice, but unclear. we always had to ask that she take our drink order and then was still there for her forever. we ordered a caesar salad that a man came and made it tasted good until I found several slimy blobs and I immediately stopped eating it. after that we waited for about 45 minutes for our food and weeping. we wanted to enjoy our time and not hurry, but it became laborious after some time. the waitress said she called for our food to be picked up, that arrived and then sat on the servier dishes next to us waiting for her to get it out. a few things were wrong and the steak of my man was cold, but whatever. we let it go because they were busy. after the meal they brought my dad dessert and we sang happy birthday. the deck came, we paid over $600 and when we finished our conversation, a man came in a guarded coat and told us that they needed the table and we had to go seriously? we were patient all the time with the table problems, the inappropriate waitress, the super slow service and they had the nerves to be so rude? wow. on the way out we told the hostess that it wasn't her fault. we told her that she let the owner know and that we will not be back. they have their masters and do not care, but it is sucked to have a less space to go for fine eating.
The service was great and the food excellent . I would go back again
