Thought typically this location requires a membership for entry they do host special events and lunch seatings that do not require membership. The space is beautiful with clean modern design and a really well-stocked bar. I've eaten at Rutgers club for their a la carte lunch menu, their all you can eat lunch, and have attended several private/public events. Honestly, people will say what they want about Rutgers dining but I truthfully think Rutgers dining really can pull off some pretty gourmet feats. Most of the items I've tasted off their menu has truly been delightful and I would definitely consider a second bite. They serve everything from empanadas, to lobster Mac and cheese to full carving stations and build your own taco stations. I personally love their all you can rat lunch option on Thursday. I think it's about $15 a person but the food quality is great, unlimited, and of course the choices are varied. Once in a while I would find the desserts hit or miss but these last few times the textures and sugar levels were really on point. I'd probably come more often if it didn't require a membership but perhaps they'll consider changing that in the future. If you haven't been to Rutgers club, definitely give it a try!
This place is great! I know that the pandemic hit them hard. But the bartender Woody makes an amazing old fashioned and I hear a great Cosmo! The food is all fresh and always delivered piping hot or cold if it's a salad. I can't say enough good things about the staff, food and beautiful atmosphere.
Very pleasant experience. Staff was great. Glad they have reopened
Was hoping there would be a few more people there for October Fest ;
Great Hispanic food options. Various pizza to choose from. Fresh salads and vegetables offered. Fresh prepared hot good lines are always long.
