Jofflyn's Fish & Chips - Portland

We enjoyed a feed from Jofflyns, a typical Aussie Fish & Chip shop. We ordered battered fish, chips and potato cakes as well as Dim Sims. They were all well cooked with the Potato Cakes a highlight - crunchy batter and yum! The chips were good, but could have been better as they we just a little soggy, perhaps if they had been double fried they would match the potato cakes.

Ordered fish and chips a couple of weeks ago. Fish was cooked great and chips, plenty of them. Service was great and very clean shop. Can ring and order then collect to avoid the wait.

This "corner store" fish and chip shop has a very family feel about it, set in the residential area of Portland.Expect a bit of a wait, especially on a Friday night in the middle of summer, as it sounded like they had a number of phone orders on the go. But they didn't appear too busy and no one else was waiting around.Their $10 fish and chip pack came in a cute takeaway cardboard box and was on the smaller side of what you'd expect from a classic takeaway store - no white butchers paper or newspaper here! But the meal was surprisingly filling and even came with a little tub of tartare sauce which was a nice touch.The chips were good but the fish was the highlight, especially the batter! It was thin and crunchy but still packed in a lot of taste

What a hidden little gem! Facilities clean and neat, service was lovely and the fish and chips were the best we had eaten in a very long time! Enjoyed a few games of connect four while we waited which was a cute, quirky little touch. Cheers guys! Kept our tummies full to continue our journey

The food was great, large cut chips with chicken salt, fresh flake and one pulled pork burger. Service was friendly and staff very friendly.
