My 88 year old Nana loves the coffee here! On Wed 08/03/17 we had delicious carrot cake and coffee. We returned for lunch on Thus 09/03/17 and it was a different story. We both had fish and chips; the fish was greasy and the chips soggy. We tried to shut the door to the hot northerly wind that day and the older staff lady marched over & reopened it stating that their air con was broken so it had to stay open. Very hot and uncomfortable in there.Small issue with my request to have a mocha in a cup instead of a glass; no idea why. Another small issue with making use of their 'buy six get one coffee free' card for my Nan to eventually get a free coffee. The same lady was unwilling to give 2 stamps for our coffees because 'a mocha is not a coffee'.Great coffee, lovely views. Customer service needs improvement.
Had breakfast here. I had bacon and eggs and sausage and hashbrown. My husband an omelette. He liked the omelette but my breakfast was swimming in grease. The eggs were not very hot.
Had lunch, my bank card didn't work, the older lady on the staff got frustrated over something simple and that's easily fixed when I used a different card. friends bought soft drink that was out of date and the same lady again got annoyed when we asked to swap. She was very unpleasant
Very welcoming atmosphere . The staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Good size portions. The chips were to die for. Also good view of the harbour
