My father had to remind the waitress (who treated us with a “let’s get this over with” attitude) to take our drink order AFTER taking our food order. Fifteen minutes later our food came out. My omelet was bland, burnt, and SUPER greasy and the potatoes were undercooked (they also had a very weird flavor like they were cooked in old, poor quality butter). My father’s eggs were raw and his bacon was clumped up into a huge mass. The next time we were acknowledged by the waitress, she tossed us the check without asking us about the meal but gladly told us how to add a tip on the receipt. We will not return.
Large family style diner with a farmhouse Vibe. The food is rich and tasty, perfect taste and good prices. The staff is nice, but the service was slow on a Friday morning at 9:00. There are some outdoor picnic benches for a quieter meal and entertainment.
I had a really excellent breakfast in Hellas. The food was excellent, the place is old school super and our server was very friendly and helpful.
This morning with my three children under five and even though they had only a few servers, they were very nice and service was fast! It is always an amazing experience there and of course, the food was amazing. Children gave the elaborate fruit cup, delicious bacon and everything else on their plate. We made a bit of a mess and demanded a little more attention than other groups, so we tipped accordingly: We often come back.
It's worth driving to Powell. Best domestic fashion breakfast place round. The attitude is like your home. Best bacon, excellent potatoes, excellent omeletts and large pancakes. Good prices. Clean. High quality. Family atmosphere. Serving employees seemed to know all customers on a personal basis. Nice place.
