However, after a long day of traveling and being too tired to venture out, we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the food was delicious and our server, Kayla, was excellent. My daughter even joked that we should write a good review for them, and despite not usually leaving reviews, I agreed. It seems like they may have hired a new chef or switched up the menu because our experience was far from what was described in the negative reviews.
The service was fast, with my food and drink delivered promptly. The food was surprisingly delicious, receiving a rating of 4 out of 5. Unfortunately, the wait for the check was unacceptably long.
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and serves good drinks, but unfortunately that's where the positive aspects end. I sat at the bar and ordered a Ruby Red Cosmo and a Turkey Club for dinner. The drink was excellent, but the bartender appeared to be unhappy. The food was terrible - the turkey was slimy, the bread was grilled with artificial butter that was unpleasant, and the french fries were overly seasoned to the point of being inedible. I usually don't leave fries uneaten, but these were just not good. My recommendation is to avoid eating here and instead walk 5 minutes to Federal Hill where you can eat like royalty.
Took 45 minutes for my burger to come out of the kitchen. Bartender was very overwhelmed when the bar became busy . I asked for my check as soon as my burger arrived. The bartender printed my check i immediately put my credit card on top of it to be cashed out. Another 15 minutes went by the bartender still did not come back to charge my card, so I ended up just leaving cash. The burger fries were good. Too bad I didn’t have time to enjoy it…
Food was terrible... one peice of fried fish for $22, arugula salad with bad cucumbers.
