Brown's Beach House - Puako

The overall atmosphere at the restaurant was incredible, perfect for a celebration, especially with the seating near the beach! The service was excellent, and they even wrote "congratulations" on our plate. It was a memorable experience that I will never forget. The food was good, but unfortunately the dessert was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

My husband and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived early for the first seating at 5:30 and were delighted to have a great table with a view. Despite the cloudy weather, we could imagine how beautiful the sunset view would be on a sunny day. The palm trees, attentive staff, and Hawaiian atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. Our server recommended the shrimp appetizer, which was served with three shrimp in a delicious butter and onion sauce - it was perfect for sharing before our main dishes. We opted for the Opa (the fish special) and surf and turf, and I must say the surf and turf was exceptional. For dessert, we decided on the OK mud pie after debating between that and the crème brûlée. Don't forget to leave room for the sweet potato dinner roll with honey butter, they are amazing with bits of sweet potato inside. Highly recommended!

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and it exceeded my expectations. The service, food, and atmosphere were all fantastic. I made a reservation for 5:30, which allowed us to enjoy the sunset during our main course. While it may be a bit more expensive, I believe it is definitely worth it.

Absolutely nothing but praise for this establishment. 5-star service all around! My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and were in awe of the quality and presentation of the food, the friendliness of the staff, the amenities of the facility, and the young Hawaiian man performing love music.

It's a beautiful place with good food. We enjoyed the live music as well as the gorgeous sunset. While on the pricier side, I definitely think you get what you pay for here. The ube rolls that come with your meal had me howling like a dog.
