Fiskardo - Redbridge

I was supposed to attend a friend's wedding at this restaurant on Friday, August 18th. The reservation had been made over six months ago and a deposit had been paid. However, when my wife and the bride-to-be went to submit the seating plan on August 11th, they were informed that the previously agreed upon price had increased by 40%. While I understand that prices can fluctuate due to ingredients and costs, it was disappointing that the restaurant had not reached out to the bride-to-be in the months leading up to the event. It seems like the owner may have been hoping that with only a week until the wedding, they would agree to the new price out of desperation. Thankfully, an alternative venue has been secured for the wedding.

We all had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location was beautiful with a lovely view. I would highly recommend this place as the food was delicious and well worth the price.

Superb view of the lake, and staff attentive, but not intrusive. I visit as frequently as possible, as I enjoy the menu, and the scenery.

While still eating our starter, our main meal also arrived, when I made this point to the waiter, he basically looked at me as to say what’s the problem. And went on to say it’s salad!! We had salmon chicken. He just walked away with quite an aggressive look his face.when we left just gave me an odd look, he needs some training in restaurant etiquette.. and when to serve each course!!

We dined here to celebrate my mother's birthday and the entire experience was outstanding. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and they were very flexible and accommodating. The Kleftiko (slow-cooked lamb) was incredibly tender and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant has a fantastic location with a view of Fairlop waters. This place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it.
